Electronic Medical Record data security and protection includes confidentiality, integrity and availability. How is the implementation, constraints and efforts made by the Hospital. Dr. M. Djamil Padang? This research is socio-legal research, primary and secondary data with document study and interviews are analyzed qualitatively. Implementation of security and protection of Electronic Medical Record data has not run optimally. Budget limitations, no SOPs yet, readiness of human resources and electronic systems is not optimal. Efforts were made, namely budget allocation, making SOPs, training and developing human resources and improving the performance of the Electronic Medical Record system.References
