Abstract

The application of restorative justice in drug abuse among adolescents in Padang City aims for rehabilitation and reconciliation. This approach aims to address the root causes of crime, repair broken relationships, and prevent the recurrence of criminal cycles. In this context, restorative justice offers a holistic approach to individual recovery by involving an understanding of social, psychological, and emotional factors that contribute to drug abuse. The implementation of restorative justice also promotes personal accountability among young people for their actions through processes of reconciliation and dialogue. Through these efforts, restorative justice has the potential to repair damaged relationships, prevent future crimes, and create a better society in Padang City.
