UPAYA PREVENTIF KEPOLISIAN RESOR KOTA PARIAMAN DALAM PEREDARAN MINUMAN KERAS ILEGAL

Abstract

Liquor is a drink whose distribution is regulated by the government and cannot be traded freely, regulated in Article 13 and Article 14 of the Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 20 of 2014 concerning Control and Supervision of the Procurement, Distribution and Sales of Alcoholic Beverages. However, in reality, many alcoholic beverages circulate in the community without permission. The role of the police is very much needed in controlling, supervising and taking action against liquor users and dealers. Formulation of the problem: 1) What is the role of the police in preventing the distribution of liquor in Pariaman? This research is sociological juridical in nature. The data sources in this study were primary and secondary data sources, data collection techniques through interviews and document studies, the data were analyzed qualitatively. The research can be concluded: 1) the role of the police in efforts to prevent the circulation of liquor in the city of Pariaman, is to carry out outreach activities to the community, carry out routine operations and patrols and carry out raids that will be given warnings, guidance and sanctions 2) obstacles encountered by the police in efforts to prevent the circulation of liquor in the city of Pariaman, are a lack of personnel, facilities and infrastructure as well as a lack of public awareness.
