Abstract

ABSTRACT

The rapid economic development, has resulted in a wide array of types and variations of goods and/or services. One of them is in the production of the drink is derived from the leaf of the KawaMinangkabau are where this drink has been introduced at the time of colonization of the Netherlands. This nutritious beverage is good for health. Therefore it needs oversight against drinks kawaDaun to protect consumers conducted by the health service of the city of Bukittingi. The issue raised in this thesis is, do drink KawaDaun has been fulfilling the terms of health according to the Government Regulation Number 28 in 2004 about the Safety, quality, and nutrition of food, how does the responsibility of businessmen KawaDaun against consumers in Bukitinggi regarding traditional beverage produced. This research uses a type of Juridical Sociological. Data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data were analyzed qualitatively. Research results can be concluded that, drink KawaDaun meet the health requirements, according to the Government Regulation Number 28 in 2004 about the safety, quality and nutrition of food. infrastructure and facilities are used, how the distribution of food, the way fast food production, the ban on using illegal additives and quality assurance of food which has been recognized by the health services both in the consumption for consumers by way of existence of laboratory testing , The form of the responsibility of the perpetrators of the attempt against the traditional drink in the production that is giving the amount of money damages to consumers were harmed and penyelesainya by means of discussion between the two sides.
