Abstract

Abstract

Legal protection of the consumer is required to protect the rights of consumers were infringed. Currently many finance companies are breaking the law on forced withdrawal of vehicles on the road. The problems are 1) how can Debt Collectors perform billing tasks to consumers PT.U Finance, 2) what are the consumer loss in PT. Finance for Debt Collector U does not come to collect the bill, 3) how is the form of legal protection for consumers in PT. U Finance who use the services of the creditor (Debt Collector). The method used in this thesis is a sociological juridical research method. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data collection technique was interview and document study. Technical analysis of the data used is qualitative. The research result of this thesis is, 1) how debt collectors PT. U Finance duty collection with 3 ways Desk Collector contact customers and remind the maturity date, the second visit of the debtor in order to know the state of the debtor and financial condition, the third Collector Remedial ie if it has not done the payment then the bailiff will snap, seize, even taking by force. 2) Debt Collector losses if consumers do not come to pick up the bill is a consumer menunggaktagihan and towed vehicle forced by Debt Collector. 3) form of legal protection for consumers is that if there is a loss of consumers are harmed Debt Collector has the right to report to the police..
