AN ANALYSIS OF PERSONIFICATION IN A NUMBER OF POEMS

Abstract

The study discuss personification write presented in a number of poems. The study

 is focused on the type of personification and the comparison of human characteristic

 to inanimate object and animal. The purposes is to find out the type of personification

 and the comparison in the personification. Furthermore, to reach out the purpose, the

 study applies qualitative method and best on the teory of personification. The result of

 the study is that in a number of the poems contains personification which the type of

 animal and inanimate object. The human characteristic is compared with the animal and

 inanimate object. The writer of the poems use the several type or personification to

 make  the poems interesting and deliver to the message to the reader.
