Abstract

In this thesis, the author examines the gogatsubyo phenomenon on the work
ethic of new employees in Japan. The reason the author takes this title is because the
writer wants to know what is the gogatsubyo phenomenon, how does the gogatsubyo
phenomenon affect the work ethic of new employees in Japan, and what efforts are
made in overcoming the gogatsubyo phenomenon. This study aimed to describe the
gogatsubyo phenomenon, how the influence of the gogatsubyo phenomenon on the
work ethic of new employees in Japan, and what kind of effort is carried out in
overcoming the gogatsubyo phenomenon. The method I use is descriptive method. To
analyze the data, the author uses cultural theory, social change theory and personality
theory.
