Abstract

t-text-stroke-width: 0px; "> Based on this thesis, the researcher analyzes hope from the two lyrics of Iida Ayaka song in the First Message album; 三日月(Mikazuki) dan I believe. These two lyrics attract the researcher to be analyzed because it is categorized as the most favorite song and it has many viewers on Youtube until 2017. Both of these two lyrics are released in the same album and there is about hope in the lyrics. In analyzing the hope on both lyrics of the song, the researcher uses theory about the nature of poetry in the form of themes, feelings, tone and context, and the value. The final step reveals the connection of hope in these two song lyrics. The conclusion of this research is the researcher found three hopes of themes, feelings, tone and context in the song 三日月(Mikazuki) lyrics. There are hopes about getting back with his/her partner, meeting the partner that will comes true, and the people who are trusted is his/her partner. The lyrics “I” is having together at first and
then getting split up, and the lyrics “I” hopes getting back together with his/her partner. Next, in the I Believe song lyrics, the researcher also found three hopes of themes, feelings, tone, and context. There are hopes about being the better person, changing in him/her will come true, and the person who are trusted is him/her. The
lyrics “I” hopes changes in him/her self in being a better person and the lyrics “I” being confident that he/she can do it.
