The Meaning of Love on a Two lyrics in the album Listen To My Heart: Study Nature of Poetry

Abstract

In this thesis the authors analyze the meaning of love in two lyrics namely,
Share Your Heart (With Me) and Nothing's Gonna Change My Love are in the
lyrics almost meet all the key words of love. Two song was written by a different
poet. This study aimed to analyze the meaning of love on two song on the album
Listen to My Heart through the nature of poetry.
The author has not found a study of two lyrics studied. However, the
authors found the comments about the album Listen to My Heart emcee music
program on Fuji TV. Takashi Fuji said that all the songs from the album have
good lyrics and touching.To analyze the meanings of love author uses the theory
of the nature of poetry, namelytheme, feeling, tone and atmosphere, as well as the
mandate (Waluyo, 1987). Analyzed the meaning of love through connotations.
This research included in qualitative research. The method used is
descriptive. The data collection technique used is the technique of literature. Data
analysis techniques there are several steps, namely (1) listen to the lyrics of the
song, (2) download and translate the lyrics of the song, (3) read and understand
the contents of the lyrics of the song, (4) classifying the data and analyze it by
parts of the nature of poetry, namely theme, feeling, tone and atmosphere, and the
mandate, (5) breaks connotations, (6) analyze the connotations of love, (7)
concluded the research.
The results of this study, the song lyrics Share Your Heart (With Me) the
authors found one data connotation of love in the form of love, four pieces of data
connotation of love in the form of hope, and love the connotation of the three data
in the form of grief. Poet hopes that her boyfriend would share anything he felt
both compassion and sadness that can last a long time relationship. Poet mandate
delivered in accordance with the title song, which is in a relationship to be open
and sharing. Furthermore, the song lyrics Nothing's Gonna Change My Love
authors found a connotation of love in the form of data captivated, five of data
connotation of love in the form of hope, and four pieces of data connotation of
love in the form of grief. Poet hope one day the poet and his lover could be
together again as a poet loves his girlfriend, according to the lyrics of the song
title. Mandate submitted that if the expected poet wants to be realized, it must be
optimistic. Since both the lyrics written by the poet are different then the feelings
of love is different. In the lyrics Share Your Heart (With Me) according to the
viewpoint of the poet, love must share and believe the pair. While the song lyrics
Nothing's Gonna Change My Love poet's point of view, love is loyalty, and
sincerely loving couple.
