This study discussed about the emotions of the characters Kiku and Hashi in the novel

by their biological mothers as babies in a rented stationary locker, raised together in an
orphanage, and adopted by the same parents. Kiku and Hashi have six primary emotions

environmental stimuli generated negative and positive responses. Monalisa (2016) discusses
the abnormal behavior of four characters, Kiku's character has hallucinations, Hashi's
character has autistic disorders, Gazelle's character has a belief in spells and insecure, and Mr.
D.'s character experiences sexual deviations. Aprilia (2014) concluded that the personality of
the id, ego and super ego of Hashi's character leads more to id behavior and dead instinct
