Analysis of Keigo (Respect Language) in the drama of Go ji kara Ku ji made by Miki Aihara
Abstract
e-width: 0px; "> Keigo is a politeness utterance that is used by speakers or writers who pay attention to speakers, readers, or people who are used as the subject of conversation and is the use of variations of words or language using the context of language use. And also be noticed from the social factors that influence the level of use of keigo. In this study, the authors used the theory of the types of Keigo Nomura and Koike in Sudjianto (2018), also the factors that gave rise to Mizutani's Keigo in Elsa Angga Rini (2017). The author uses descriptive methods. According to Surdayanto in Syahrial (2019:96), the descriptive method suggests that the research carried out is based solely on the facts or phenomena that are empirically alive to the speakers and does not consider the correctness of the use of language by the speakers. The data collection used is the method of competent, free listening and note taking techniques. Furthermore, to analyze the data used techniques for direct elements or BUL techniques. The technique of presenting data analysis informally is done by describing the situation, dialogue, types of keigo, and factors that give rise to keigo.The object in this study was taken from the drama of Go ji kara Ku ji made by Miki Aihara. For numbering data analysis on data findings, the author present sequentially. Then, to analyze the types of keigo and the factors that give rise to keigo the author presents regularly. Based on these results it was found that keigo with types of sonkeigo, kenjougo, and teineigo. The characteristics of sonkeigo found are using special verbs/nouns, using passive verbs (ukemi) and renyoukei verbs in the お o+V+になる ninaru pattern.The characteristics of kenjougo are found using special verbs, using the prefix お o, ごgo and suru suffix, using the verb ageru mousu and others. The characteristics of teineigo are found using the help verbs of desu and masu at the end of a sentence, to use the prefixes お o and ごgo to certain words, and to use special verbs of teineigo. The results of subsequent studies are factors that give rise to keigo such as intimacy factors, age factors, social relations factors, social status factors, gender factors, and group membership factors. The author concluded on the findings and discussion that there are types of keigo that are often used are Sonkeigo and the factors that cause keigo are social relations factors.Keywords: Keigo; Type of Keigo; Factors that Raised the Keigo
