FUNGSI PREFIKS DALAM NOVEL INZA MISOSUUPU KARYA RYU MURAKAMI

Abstract

In this research the writer discuss about function and prefix in Japanese language, they are prefix dai, fu, hi, mu, shin and zen in Inza Misosuupu novel by Ryu Murakmi. This research have done by analyze sentences which is use prefix in Japanese language found in Inza Misosuupu novel by Ryu Murakmi. This research is to describe which function and how use it in sentences in Inza Misosuupu novel by Ryu Murakmi. Method which is used in this research is description method. To analyze prefix in Japanese language, the writer use koizumi theory who says “settouji” or prefix is affix that add in front of root or gokan. To classify the function and prefix use in Japanese language the writer use Timothy J Vance theory which is classify function and prefix use in root which is following it. From the result of research found that function and the way to use it from sixth prefix dai, fu, hi, mu, shin and zen in Inza Misosuupu novel by Ryu Murakmi, the writer found some similarity and some different from each prefix itself. Beside that changes of meaning which is can use there is an addition of root which is following it. Then some prefix can change the category of word classes which is previously noun become adjective noun.
