Abstract

In this paper the writer analyze the behavior of Yamamoto Kansuke characters in Furin Kazan by Yasushi Inoue. The behavior showed by Yamamoto Kansuke is influenced by environment. The environment are environmental, social environment, and the natural environment.
To analyzed the Yamamoto Kansuke behavior, the writer used behavioral psychology approach by Skinner, that is the mind for relation between stimulus and response. The human behavior is considered as a response that will appear if there is stimulus from environment. The method used is descriptive method.
Based on the results of research, concluded that the environmental influence the Yamamoto Kansuke’s behavior is conditioned stimulus from Dazen Aoki, Amari Torayasu, Harunobu, Putri Yuu, Yoshinobu, and Putri Ogoto, appear Yamamoto Kansuke’s respon that is conditioned behavior. The social environment who affects Kansuke’s behavior is conditioned stimulus that comes from the Takeda generals and horse riders Kansuke gave Kansuke’s response is conditioned behavior. The natural environment who affects Kansuke’s behaviour is unconditioned stimulus, that is the death of General Itagaki Nobukata and Putri Yuu caused response of Kansuke is unconditioned behavior. Stimulus from the environmental and the social environment given constantly, positive and distanced. Response (behavior) conditioned and unconditioned of Kansuke showed from actions, thoughts, and words.
