AN ANALYSIS OF SLANG ON SID AND NANCY MOVIE

Abstract

This thesis entitled An Analysis of Slang on Sid and Nancy Movie. Object of this study is that tubes used by actors and actresses in the film Sid and Nancy itself. The study focused on the form and meaning of slang. The purpose of the study was to describe the shape and slang meanings contained in the film Sid and Nancy. In the discussion of all the data obtained, the authors found that the two forms of slang words (noun, verb, and adjective) and phrase. While the discussion is only limited meaning described in connotative meaning. The method used in this thesis is a comparative method. Data writing this essay is taken from the film Sid and Nancy The results of the analysis showed that the shape of the tube is found from the words and unique meaning.
