ANALISIS TOKOH DAN ALUR DALAM NOVEL UMIBE NO KAFUKA KARYA MURAKAMI HARUKI

Abstract

The writer has choosen this novel Umibe no Kafuka (UnK)  because it has a speciality with the two chapters. There are odd and even chapter both of these chapters have influence to the plot of the novel UnK. The plot in the odd chapter tells about the characters of Tamura Kafuka, since the even chapter tells about the characters of Nakata.

The result of this research shows that both of the characters Tamura Kafuka and Nakata have the same attitude and behaviour. The same attitude of them are honesty and carefulness. While the same behavior is out of control of himself, it looks there is another power drives him. The character of Nakata is an artificial thing of Tamura Kafuka. Tamura Kafuka found in the real life bat Nakata can not be found in real life. The plot consist of introduction, the plot of odd and even chapter and gathering of the both plot.
