FENOMENA SOSIAL PADA REMAJA JEPANG MODERN

Abstract

In this research the author examines the social phenomenon in modern Japanese teenagers.
The author want to know the modern Japanese family life, and the behavior of modern
Japanese teenagers. This research aim to describe the role of father, mother, and child in the
modern Japanese family and sex behaviour of modern Japanese teenagers. The method author
uses is descriptive method. To analyze the data, the author uses the theory of culture, the teory
of social change, the teory of structural-functional, and the psychology theory of adolescent.
The results is Japan economic changes have affected the social and cultural life of the Japan
society. One of that is the change of Japanese family system, from Ie system to nuclear family
system. Then, the change in the family system and structure bring some changes to the roles
and patterns of behavior of a father, mother, and child in the family. That changes of roles
have an big impact on patterns of behaviour of child especially when the child in juvenile
phase. In modern Japanese family who adopts nuclear family system, parents have work, busy
and stressful life. That condititon make children have a lot of ease and freedom in daily
activities. So often of them feel lonely at home and seeking for an attention outside after
school at night. Since Japan have so many adult’s entertainment business at night, many
modern Japanese teenagers had free sex and deviant behaviours, then finally plunge to the
world of pornography and prostitution.
