Abstract

In this thesis the author examines the business opportunities of pets in Japan. The author’s
reason took this title because the author wanted to know how the presence of pets in Japan and
how big a phenomenon affected pets business in Japan. This study aims to describe the
existence of petto in Japan and business development of pets in Japan. In this study the author
uses descriptive method. To analyze the data the author uses theory of culture and business
theory.
Results of research is the existence of pets greatly affected business in Japan. Many people
have a pet in Japan. Because of that there are so many business opportunity related of pets. Such
as the business of food, lodging, clothing and accessories, salons, insurance and others that
have developed in Japan in this time. Products such as food, clothing and accessories of pets is
also diverse. As business is not only give a advantageous for businessman, but also for they
who keep the pet. The existence business of pets make they could life happily and more comfortable,
the service of pets make it looks funny and entertains. The business is also give a adventage to those
who can not keep pets. Such as cat café and dog’s rent. Which give opportunity to those who like cat
and dog, but they can not keep it by theirself. Saw a business opportunity of pets smartly, make people
think creatively and innovative. So they are always create something that make people feel amazing.
