Abstract

In this research the writer analyzed saying invitation strategy in Kimi To Boku as source data of this research. In this research used descriptive method and writer used Wijana in directly and not directly Albert Gilman and Scollon theory. Based on the result of the data analysis, the writer made a group of invitation expression in four situations. The first, power situation (+P) and solidarity (S+), second, power situation (+P) and solidarity (-s). The third power (-P) and solidarity (+S) and fourth power situation (-P) and solidarity (-s). The strategy showed in situation (+P) (+S) was saying directly, (+P) (-s) was not saying directly, situation (-P) (+s) was literal saying strategy and situation (-p) (-s) was not saying directly.
