MAKNA KATA KIMI PADA TIGA LIRIK LAGU KARYA INOUE SHINJIROU DALAM ALBUM TOHOSHINKI, BEST SELECTION 2010: KAJIAN HAKIKAT PUISI

Abstract

In this thesis, the writer analyzes the meaning of kimi words from the lyrics of the three
songs written by Inoue Shinjirou on Tohoshinki’s album, Best Selection 2010. The three songs
are titled Stand by U, 時ヲ止メテ (Toki o Tomete), and With All My Heart～君が踊る、夏～
(With All My Heart~ Kimi ga Odoru, Natsu~). The writer is interested in analyzing these three
songs because there are many kimi words included in the lyrics.
This study is qualitative, the method is descriptive , and collecting the data is the library
research. The data sourceses in this study are primary and secondary. In analyzing the lyrics of
the three songs, the writer uses the approach consists of sense, feeling, tone, and intention.
The meaning of kimi word from the lyrics of the three songs can be discovered after
revealing sense, feeling, tone, and intention stated in the lyrics. The kimi words on these lyrics
are referred to a woman who is very precious and loved by someone. The woman is missed
because the woman is not beside him.
