ANALISIS TUTURAN PERTANYAAN DALAM DRAMA NIHON JIN NO SHIRANAI NIHON GO

Abstract

In this thesis the author analyzed about the speech acts of rhetorical questions.The
author used Shiranai Nihon Nihon Jin No Go drama as a source in this research. I used
descriptive methods to research and used questions speech acts theory according to the
Larson’s theory. As the result, the author conclude that questions speech acts not only used to
just get the information, they are other implicit function on questions speech acts. The most
common implicit function of questions speech acts found in data are to express the angry and
annoyed feelings, and to express the shock feelings. The other function of the question speech
acts found are to supression of the facts, to show warning, to indicates attitude of
astonishment, admiration expression, expression of disappointment, and to express concerns.
