FENOMENA SHOUSHIKA DI ANTARA SISTEM PENDIDIKAN JEPANG DAN PERSAMAAN JENDER

Abstract

Shoushika is a state of the declining number of births in Japan. This situation affect the
availability of the number of reproductive age who are human resource of a nation. The two
main causes of shoushika phenomena are the instability of one’s income and increasing
number of parasite singles. Both of these influence each other, if a person experiences
instability in earnings, then he or she tends to stay single and have no children, many of them
are still dependent on their parents, in other words parasite singles phenomenon will not
occur if one does not experience instability in terms of finacial income. Another causes is the
increasing number of women who pursue higher education and their participation in the labor
market is considered as the reason for the marriage delay resulted in a continued decline in
the number of births. This matter as if creates the perception that the progress of women in
education and employment become the factors that caused a decline in the number of births.
