PENGGUNAAN WAKAMONO KOTOBA: KOMIK BLEACH VOLUME 50-52

Abstract

In this paper the author analyzed the using of wakamono kotoba in comic Bleach volume 50-52. The research aimed to describe the formation of Wakamono kotoba which appear in comic Bleach volume 50-52 and also to described about the types of wakamono kotoba here. So, we knew where the word ‘wakamono kotoba’ comes from. To analyze it, the author used theory of young people language formation by Yonekawa Akihiko. It consisted of foreign vocabulary loan, deletion, metathesis symptoms. A formation that should be read in way of onyomi but we read it in way of kunyomi, vocabulary loan in form component, first alphabet abbreviation, parody, invented verb, invented noun, the addition of suffix (-kun, -otoko), compound noun formation, and sound change. After the data gathered, it will be analyzed based on the theory of young people language formation Yonekawa Akihiko. Then the data that has been analyzed were given the explanation about what types of words included of word ‘wakamono kotoba’ in this comic. In this paper, the researcher used descriptive method. It aimed to comprehend the progress of formation of wakamono kotoba that included in this comic. So, we can find it. Based on the result of this research, the researcher can concluded that wakamono kotoba included in this comic are not only a word but also a phrase and clause. And also there are several meaning change words from the real meaning. In writing words, there are several words must be writed by hiragana which mixed writing by hiragana and katakana, and also there some of them writed by katakana only.
