THE EXPRESSIONS OF LOVE TWO SONG LYRICS NISHINO KANA SONG IN ALBUM TO LOVE: ANALYSIS IMAGERY

Abstract

In this paper the writers analysis the expression of love and the two song
lyrics Motto and MAYBE. Furthermore, analyzing the imagery of the expression
of love that have been found and the search for meaning that exist in both the
lyrics of the song. Album To love is the best album of the four albums Kana
Nishino's until 2012 year.
This study is a qualitative research, using descriptive method with data
collection study of literature. To analysis imagery, the writers classify the
expression of love in the lyrics. Then analysis imagery of expression of love that
have been found by using visual imagery, auditive imagery, and tactile imagery.
The final step is to express the whole meaning of the second song.
In the song Motto there are three expressions of love that is wanted, longing,
and worry. In the song MAYBE there are four expressions of love that is dear,
captivated, want and worry. In both the lyrics of the song, the phrase is an
expression of love most wanted and most are imagery of the tactile imagery. The
motto expresses the meaning of the lyrics I desire lyrics about love more than her
lover, because they still feel the doubt. Meaning of the lyrics of the song lyrics
MAYBE I expressed concerns in the past to love his girlfriend. I want love lyrics
more than his lover who may still remember the love in the past.
