WATAK KEPEMIMPINAN YORITOMO DAN YOSHITSUNE DALAM NOVEL MINAMOTO NO YORITOMO KARYA YOSHIKAWA EIJI

Abstract

The writer interested in analyzing the leadership of Yoritomo and Yoshitsune
in the novel Minamoto no Yoritomo by Eiji Yoshikawa. These two characters are
brothers but from different mothers. The results of the analysis of plot and setting,
Yoritomo character are reckless, rough, envy and unwise. While the character of
Yoshitsune, which is tough, courageous, patient and wise. Those characters supported
the leadership of Yoritomo and Yoshitsune. Yoritomo’s leadership namely charismatic
is supported by reckless character; authoritarian leadership is supported by rough and
envy. Yoshitsune’s leadership namely charismatic is supported by courageous and
wise, diplomatic leadership is supported by patient character.
