PENYIMPANGAN PENGGUNAAN BAHASA KEIGO DALAM SERIAL DRAMA JEPANG NIHONJIN NO SHIRANAI NIHONGO KAJIAN : STRUKTUR

Abstract

In this research, the writer discusses about the misuses of honorific language in terms
of form and function. The reseach was conducted by analyzing misuses of honorific language
which contained in the Japanese drama series Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo.This research is
aimed to describe any form of the misuses of honorific language through the study of
structure. To collect and classify the data the writer used theories Mahsum and sudaryanto.
To analyze the form of misuses of honorific language in Japanese, the writer uses Taringan
theory. From the results of this research, the writer founded that the misuse of honorific
language occurred because they are not understand the rules of use honorific language and
frequent misplacement in the use of a words.
