CONNECTION OF TWO LYRICS SABRINA AND LINDA IN THE ALBUM LEO BY IEIRI REO: STUDY THE ESSENCE OF POETRY

Abstract

This paper are analyzed the relation between of the two lyrics Sabrina dan Linda by Ieiri Reo in the album Leo because in both lyrics have the same words witchis 􁃑(uso /lie) and 􁏙􂊂 (kodoku / lonely). This is a qualitative study, using descriptive method with study the essence of poetry. To analyze the connection between both lyrics, the author uses the theme of sense, feeling, tone, and intention. Last step to know the denotative and the connotative meaning of two lyrics.
The conclusion of this study is the connection theme of sense, feeling, tone and intention. Also the same connection of meaning that a lie cause damage friendships. The name Sabrina and Linda are characters who is trusted by the poet to convey what can not be spoken. Both the character names have a meaning that is characteristic, not made up and unique, independent, critical of others, and good person. It was concluded that connection between both the lyrics are feelings of dislike against lie in friendship.
