Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF THE CIVICS LEARNING MODULES BASED ON PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) FOR GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS Renti Dasla1, Pebriyenni1, M Tamrin1 1Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bung Hatta E-mail : rentidasla98@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a Civics learning module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) for grade IV elementary school students that are valid and practical. This type of Research and Development (Research and Development) by using a 4-D design simplified to 3-D which consists of the stages of define, design and development. This research was conducted on grade IV students in the even semester of the 2019 / 2020 Academic Year. The questionnaire validator consists of 1 material validator lecturer, 1 design validator lecturer, and 1 language validator lecturer. Based on research results, module validation carried out from the aspect of Civics material obtained an assessment of 3,71 with a very valid category, from the display aspect the score is 3,05 with the valid category, and from the language aspect the assessment was 3,6 with a very valid category. In the average score of the PBL based Civics learning module as a whole is 3,45 with the valid category. While the practicality test consisted of 1 teacher and 4 students, the results of practicality by the teacher obtained a percentage of results of 89,12% with very practical criteria, and the results of practicality by students obtained a percentage of 89,81% with very practical criteria. From the results of this study it can be cocluded that the resulting problem based learning (PBL) module is valid and very practical used as an alternative teaching material so that students are able to learn either without teacher guidance or with teacher guidance.
