Dr. Wirnita, MM.This research is motivated by the absence of development of a science learning module based on the picture and picture module and teaching materials provided by schools for students in the form of student theme books found in the school library. However, the theme book can only be used by students when students are in the school environment, while at the end of school learning the student's theme book is returned to the school library, making it difficult for students to understand and repeat learning at home, according to Har, E (2014) science learning is one of the subjects that play a role in improving the quality of human resources, where science is a subject that studies a set of events, facts, and concepts related to nature and its contents, through science learning students will have knowledge and ability to take care of nature properly. Based on this, the researcher conducted development research with the title "Development of Ipa Learning Module Based on the Picture and Picture Model on the Cycle of Living Things and How to Preserve Them for Class IVA Students at SDN 13 Surau Gadang Padang."This type of research is a research development or Research & Development using the 4-D development model. According to Trianto (2011: 189) states that "The development of this model consists of 4 steps, namely defining (Define), designing (Design), developing (Developing), and spreading (Disseminate)". However, due to limited time, capability and cost as well as the Covid-19 Pandemic which is the limitation of the author's current research, the research only takes three stages, namely Define, Design and Develop.The results of the study of the Natural Science learning module for grade IV SD was carried out in 3 stages of validation, namely by material expert lecturers, linguists and design experts, from the material aspect, the validation results were 97.7% with very valid criteria, from the language aspect the validation results obtained 91 , 6% and from the design aspect, the validation results were 86.3%.From these data it is concluded that the developed learning module meets valid criteria, so that it can be used in Natural Science learning ingrade IV SD.Keywords: Module, Science Learning, Picture and Picture
