Abstrak

Primary School Teacher Education, Penjaskesrek Concentration, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Bunghatta University e-mail: vannyc070@gmail.com ABSTRACT The problem in this study stems from the observations that the author met in the field, it turns out that there are athletes who make smashes that are not accurate or on target. Many factors cause inaccurate smashes, including not being able to jump as expected and smashes not on target. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between leg muscle explosive power and eye-hand coordination on the smash accuracy of female volleyball athletes DDC Sijunjung Regency. This type of research is correlational. The population in this study were all female volleyball athletes totaling 30 people. The sampling used was total sampling (all populations were sampled). The data collection technique was carried out by testing the three variables, namely the leg muscle explosive power data using the vertical jump test, and eye-hand coordination using the ballwerfen und fangen test. While the accuracy of the smash is used the smash accuracy test. The data were analyzed with product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The results of hypothesis testing showed: (1) there was a significant relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the accuracy of the smash, (2) there was a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination and the accuracy of the smash of female volleyball athletes and (3) there is a significant relationship between the explosive power of leg muscles and eye-hand coordination on the accuracy of the smash of female volleyball athletes, indicated by the results obtained by Fcount = 7.7974> Ftable = 3.35.
