Abstrak

THE TEACHER'S UNDERSTANDING OF THE OPEN ENDED MODEL LEARNING IN THE LEARNING PROCESS IN SD NEGERI 13 PANDAM, PASAMAN DISTRICT ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the level of teacher understanding of the open ended learning model in the learning process at SD Negeri 13 Pandam, Pasaman Regency. This type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The subjects of this study were teachers of SD Negeri 13 Pandam with the criteria of teachers who had applied the open ended learning model in the learning process with a total of 9 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire for teachers' understanding of the open ended learning model. The results of the study reveal that (1) The teacher's understanding of the open ended learning model in the learning process at SD Negeri 13 Pandam is in the low category (R) with a percentage of 77.78%, (2) The teacher's understanding of the open ended learning model in the learning process in SD Negeri 13 Pandam in the aspect of understanding the concept of the open ended learning model is in the low category (R) with a percentage of 88.89%, and (3) The teacher's understanding of the open ended learning model in the learning process at SD Negeri 13 Pandam is in the aspect of applying the open model Ended learning is in the low category (R) with a percentage of 77.78%. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that teachers understand theoretically and practice the learning methods used. Keywords: teacher understanding, open ended learning model
