Abstrak

CORRELATION BETWEEN LEARNING INTERESTS WITH THE ACHIEVEMENT OF STUDENTS IN CLASS V PRIVATE SCHOOL 23 BALAI NARAS Qori Hafifah 1 Primary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email: qorihafifah2@gmail.com , Hendra Hidayat 2 3 , Siska Angraini ABSTRACT This study was a problem related to the achievement and interest in learning science of class V SD N 23 Balai Naras, where during the initial observation the student's interest in learning was not indicated to have an effect on student achievement. The results showed that the results of t count was greater than t table (3.046> 1.721) at the 95% degree of confidence, so that the correlation between interest in learning and learning achievement was significant or significant. Thus the hypothesis (H1) that there is a significant correlation between interest in learning and science learning achievement of students at SD N 23 Balai Naras can be accepted, with a significant correlation. In addition, responding to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, researchers also collected additional data to compare students' interest in classroom learners with online / distance learning. Indicatively, students tend to be more interested in learning in class (meetings) with their teachers, both in terms of feeling happy when learning, interest in learning and involvement in the learning process. However, from the point of view of indicators of attention, students tend not to get bored when studying online. Keywords: interest in learning, learning achievement, online learning
