Abstrak

Primary school mathematics learning is a teaching and learning process that is built by teachers to develop the potential of elementary school students, so that they can construct the knowledge they have and can solve problems they encounter in life, with the aim of increasing students' understanding of mathematics material. In the learning process at school, teachers have never used interactive learning media, especially in mathematics learning. Teachers only use thematic books, worksheets, and electronic school books (BSE) as learning resources. Therefore, there is a lack of interaction between teachers and students because the media used is not attractive and not interactive, so that students have difficulty understanding the learning material. Researchers conducted development research with the title "Development of Interactive PowerPoint Learning Media Based on Realistic Mathematics Education on Mathematics Learning Matter of Bangun Flat for Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 01 Alang Lawas". This type of research is a Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, this research only reached the Development stage. The test subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Alang Lawas on the flat shape material. In the validation stage, the media that had been designed were validated by 2 validators consisting of lecturers at the Teaching and Education Faculty, Bung Hatta University. The practicality stage is carried out after the media is validated and feasible to be tested with the aim of knowing the practicality level of interactive PowerPoint learning media based on Realistic Mathematics Education. Based on the results of research on the development of interactive PowerPoint learning media based on Realistic Mathematics Education, it obtained an average validity of 86.67% in the valid category, while the practicality average was obtained a percentage of 97.4% with the very practical category. From the research results, it can be concluded that the interactive PowerPoint learning media based on Realistic Mathematics Education is valid and very practical to use in learning mathematics, so that it can be used as one of the teaching materials in learning in grade IV SD Negeri 01 Alang Lawas.
