Development of Sticky Board Media in Mathematics Learning Materials for Perimeter and Area of Rectangles and Squares in Class IV SDN 05 KUBANG
Abstrak
DEVELOPMENT OF TEMPLATE BOARD MEDIA IN LEARNING MATHEMATICS OF CIRCULAR AND BUILDING AREA FLAT REGION AND SQUARE ON CLASS IV AT SDN 05 KUBANG Mutia Latifa1, Rieke Alyusfitri1 1Primary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University E-mail : mutia.latifa505@gmail.com This research is motivated by the use of learning media that is less than optimal in learning, the teaching and learning process that still uses examples of pictures on the blackboard makes students less understand the concept so that students are less interested in learning. This study aims to develop a sticky board mathematics learning media on the perimeter and area of rectangles and squares for fourth grade students of SDN 05 Kubang. The type of research is research and development (R & D). The development procedure uses 4-D modified to 3-D. The stages carried out are define, design and develop. The validator of the validity questionnaire was carried out by 2 lecturers at Bung Hatta University and the practicality was carried out by the teacher and 14 fourth grade students of SDN 05 Kubang. Data for validity were obtained from the results of the validity sheet of two validators. Media validity includes two aspects, namely material aspects and media aspects. Based on the results of the validation by the validator, the developed sticky board media obtained a percentage of 91.6% with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality of teachers get a percentage of 92.5% and students with a percentage of 92.4% with very practical criteria. This shows that the sticky board mathematics learning media on the perimeter and area of rectangles and squares is very valid and very practical to use in learning mathematics for fourth grade elementary school students. The use of sticky board media is expected to be an alternative media for elementary mathematics learning. Keywords: Learning Media, Template Board, Mathematics,Referensi
