Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF MIND MAPPING-BASED IPS LEARNING MODULE USING MINDMUP V4.40 IN CLASS IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Novita Dewi1), M. Tamrin1) Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email: novitaadw33@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a mind mapping-based social studies learning module using mindmup V4.40 for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Pancung Questions that meet valid and practical criteria. This type of research is research and development (R&D). The development model uses 4-D which is modified into 3-D. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year in social studies subjects. In the validation process, the module is validated by 3 validator lecturers, namely material expert validator, linguist and design expert. In the practical process, the module was tested by 1 teacher and 27 fourth grade elementary school students. Data for validity were obtained from the results of the validation sheet which had been assessed by validators of material experts 81%, linguists 95.45%, and design experts 84.72%, so that the overall average validity value of the three expert lecturers was 85.18% with valid criteria. The data for practicality were obtained from practicality sheets (teacher and student response questionnaires) which got 95.45% practicality scores by teachers and 82.55% practicality by students, so the average practicality by teachers and students was 82.65% with practical criteria. This shows that this module is valid and practical to be used as a source or teaching material for Social Studies class IV Elementary School. Keywords: Module, Social Studies Learning, Mind Mapping
