Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF IMAGE-BASED FLASHCARD MEDIA AND IMAGES ON MATERIAL SCIENCE LESSONS, CHARACTERISTICS AND NEEDS OF LIVING THINGS CLASS III SDN 26 NANGGALO Chori Oktavera1, Erman Har1 1Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University e-mail : choryoktavera10@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce media products in the form of flashcards based on picture and picture in science learning material on the characteristics and needs of living things that are valid and practical at SD Negeri 26 Nanggalo. The type of research used in this research is R&D (Research & Development). This research was carried out to the 3-D stage, namely Define, Design, and develop. The research instrument consisted of a validation questionnaire sheet and a practical questionnaire sheet for teachers and 3rd grade students as many as 20 people. Based on the results of the development of media in the form of picture and picture-based flashcards for 3rd grade elementary school students which are included in the very valid criteria with validity (90.3%), from the material aspect (90.90%), appearance (82.5%), and language (97.5%). The media developed was very practical by the teacher with practicality (90.27%), from the aspect of content presentation (91.66%), from the aspect of time effectiveness (91.66%), from the aspect of the benefits of flashcard media (87.5%). Students with practicality (94, 15%), from the aspect of student interest (99, 37%), from the learning aspect (92.25%), from the aspect of increasing creativity (91.25%), and from the media aspect (93, 75%). Based on the results of the researchers, it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of picture and picture-based flashcards meet the very valid and practical criteria to be used as media in science learning. From the results of the study, it is hoped that it can be used in the learning process in the classroom and can find out how to develop good and quality procedures.
