Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) Fractions for Class III Students at SD Negeri 16 Surau Gadang

Mathematics is one of the fields of study or important subjects that must be studied by every student at various levels of education, to build students' knowledge of mathematics subjects, mathematics is taught since elementary school. Mathematics is a branch of science that plays an important role in education. Basically, elementary school children are experiencing the development of their thinking. The thinking stages of elementary school age children are still not logical and are still concrete or real. This means that their level of thinking is often in accordance with what they are seeing or feeling. They still find it difficult to think of something that is not in front of them that is only by using their imagination. In the learning process at school, teachers are more likely to teach the material as stated in the LKS. This causes students as mathematics users to find it difficult to make generalizations through finding patterns and traits. Researchers conducted development research with the title "Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) Fractions for Class III Students of SD Negeri 16 Surau Gadang". The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4-D development model, namely, Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. However, due to time constraints, this research only reached the Develop stage. The subjects of this CTL-based LKPD trial were third grade students of SD Negeri 16 Surau Gadang, totaling 21 students. In the validation stage, the LKPD that has been designed is followed by validation activities by a validator consisting of 3 lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Bung Hatta University. For the practicality stage, it is carried out after the LKPD is validated and feasible to be tested with the aim of knowing the practicality of the Learning LKPD that has been made. Based on the results of research on the development of CTL-Based LKPD (Contextual Teaching and Learning) obtained an overall average validity of 89.9%, with very valid criteria, while for the average practicality by teachers and students obtained an overall average of 93.39% with criteria Very practical. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that this CTL-based LKPD is very valid and very practical to use in learning mathematics, so it can be used as one of the teaching materials in learning in class III SD Negeri 16 Surau Gadang.Referensi
