Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF IPS LEARNING MEDIA USING THE POWTOON APPLICATION FOR CLASS V ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Egari Ayanof1, Yulfia Nora1 1Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email : egariayanof14@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce social studies learning media using the powtoon application for class V SD Negeri 05 Bandar Create Padang that meets the very valid and very practical criteria. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The stages carried out are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection instrument used in the study was a questionnaire consisting of a validation sheet and a practicality sheet. The validation sheet consists of three aspects, namely material validation, language and design. Practicality tests were carried out by teachers and students. Based on the results of the media validation analysis, it was obtained an average of 95.19% with very valid criteria, with details of material validation of 98.07%, language validation of 100%, and design validation of 87.5%. Practicality of media by teachers and students obtained an average of 90.09% with very practical criteria, with practicality by teachers 86.53% and practicality by students 93.66%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of social studies learning media using the Powtoon application for class V SD is very valid and very practical to use as a source and learning media for students and teachers.
