Abstrak

POP UP BOOK LEARNING MEDIA DEVELOPMENT WITH INKUIRI APPROACH TO SCIENCE LEARNING THEME 2 CLEAN AIR FOR HEALTH CLASS V SD NEGERI 05 SURAU GADANG Esty Widia Ningsih1, Siska Angreni1 1 Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University e-mail : estywidianingsih9@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce science learning media in the form of an Inkuiri-based pop-up book on material disorders of the human respiratory organs class V SDN 05 Surau Gadang that is valid, and practical. The type of research used is development (Research and Development). The research model used is the 4-D type, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. Due to limited time and ability, the researchers limited the development model in this study to the third stage (3-D), namely the define, design, and development stages. The validator of the validity questionnaire was carried out by 3 expert lecturers, for the practicality test it was carried out by educators and 20 fifth grade students at SDN 05 Surau Gadang, Padang City. The results showed that the media produced was categorized as very valid by the validator with an average value of (3.63), viewed from the aspect of the pop-up book media material, it obtained an assessment (3.80) with a very valid category, from the design aspect it obtained a score of (3.80). 3.79) with a very valid category, and judging from the language aspect, it obtained a value of (3.01) with a valid category. The results of practicality by educators and students are categorized as very practical with an average value (98.34). Practicality by educators gets a percentage (98.30) in the very practical category, and practicality by students gets a percentage (98.38) in the very practical category. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of science learning media in the form of an Inkuiri-based pop-up book on the material of disorders of the human respiratory organs in class V SDN 05 Surau Gadang is very valid, and very practical so that it can be used in the learning process in class V SD.
