Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF POP-UP BOOK MEDIA IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING BASED ON CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) FOR CLASS II STUDENTS AT SDN 05 SURAU GADANG, PADANG CITY Nadia Fitri Amalia¹, Dr. Wirnita Eska, S.Pd., M.Pd¹ Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email : nadya12amalia@gmail.com ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the lack of use of media when learning, teaching materials used previously in the form of theme books and worksheets so that students get bored and the methods used by teachers in the learning process are still conventional. This study aims to develop a Pop-Up Book media for learning Indonesian based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) for Class II SDN 05 Surau Gadang, Padang City which is valid, practical, and effective. The theory used in this study has several experts including the theory by Donald P.Ely, Rubin, Safni and Susanto. The type of research used is research and development. The validity of the questionnaire validator was carried out by 3 expert lecturers, for practicality tests were carried out on teachers and second grade students at SDN 05 Surau Gadang, Padang City and for effectiveness tests were the results of evaluation tests for second grade students at SDN 05 Surau Gadang, Padang City. The results showed that the media produced categorized as very valid by the validator with an average value (98.1%) both from the material aspect (100%), design aspect (96.8%), and language aspect (97.5%). Media categorized as very practical by the teacher with an average percentage (93.7%). And categorized as very practical by students with an average percentage (96.6%). The results of the study on the effectiveness test were categorized (93.1%). From the results of the study, it was concluded that the development of serial image learning media based on pop-up Indonesian language textbooks for class II students at SDN 05 Surau Gadang, Padang City, was very valid, very practical and effective so that it could be used in the learning process in class II SD.
