Development of Mathematics Learning Modules for Traveling and Broad Material to Build Flat Based on Mind Mapping for Grade IV Students of SDN 001 Bangkinang Kota, Kampar Regency, Riau Province.

DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING MODULE ON THE MATERIAL OF CIRCUMSTANCES AND FLAT BASED ON MIND MAPPING FOR CLASS IV SDN 001 BANGKINANG KOTA, KAMPAR REGENCY, RIAU PROVINCE Ameliya Andriani1, Susi Herawati1 1Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program 1Mathematics Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email: ameliyaandriani2@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a mind mapping-based math learning module for grade IV SDN 001 Bangkinang City, Kampar Regency, Riau Province that is valid and practical. This type of research is research and development with 4-D type, namely define, design, development and disseminate. This research is limited to 3-D, namely define, design and development because of time constraints. This research was carried out in semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year with the material of circumference and area of flat shapes. The module validation process is validated by 2 lecturers who are material experts and design experts. In the practicality process, the module was tested by 1 teacher and 18 students. At the validation stage, the module with the mind mapping method met the very valid criteria with an average percentage of 94.265% with details on the material aspect of 92.70% and the design aspect of 95.83%. At the practical stage, the module with the mind mapping method includes very practical criteria with an average percentage of 97.78% with details of teacher response questionnaires 97.72% and student questionnaire responses 97.85%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning module material on the circumference and area of flat shapes based on mind mapping meets the very valid criteria and is very practical to be used as one of the teaching materials in learning mathematics, especially for fourth grade elementary school students.
