Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF TWO DIMENSIONAL ANIMATION MEDIA IN CONTEXTUAL-BASED CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION LEARNING FOR CLASS V SDN 011/XI DESA GEDANG Dirafani Wulandari', Darwianis' 'Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Bung Hatta University email: Dirafaniwulandari@yahoo.com ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the lack of use of media in the learning process, so that students are less motivated in learning. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to produce a contextual-based two-dimensional animation learning media on civic education subjects for class V SDN 011/XI Desa Gedang that is valid and practical. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) with the research model used is the 4-D type, namely define, design, development and dissemination. This research is limited to the development stage. This research was conducted at the beginning of the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The research instrument includes a validity sheet and a practical sheet. Validation was carried out by 3 validation lecturers (material experts, linguists, and media experts). In the practical process, the media was tested by 1 teacher and 16 students. Based on the results of the study, the development of two-dimensional animation media for contextual-based civics education resulted in meeting the very valid criteria with an average validity percentage of 94.33% and meeting the very practical criteria with an average practicality percentage of 93.13%. Thus it is very valid and very practical to use as one of the teaching media for learning. Keywords: Media, Citizenship Education, Contextual.
