Abstrak

According to Isman (in Dewi, 2020:56), "Online learning is the use of the internet network in the learning process. With online learning, students have the flexibility of learning time, can study anytime and anywhere. Students can interact with teachers using several applications such as classroom, zoom or through whatsapp groups". So during online learning the teacher's role is very necessary in student learning motivation. Meanwhile, according to Tanjung (2017: 1), the teacher is a teacher and as an agent who will provide education to students. Teachers also play an important role in creating quality human resources. Not only the teacher's role, but the role of parents is also very important in increasing children's learning motivation during online learning. According to Irma, et al (2019), "Parents in early childhood education need to synergize with various program efforts and activities that are adapted to the analysis of constraints on the part of parents including social status factors, family form factors, family development stage factors, and role model factorsâ€. Meanwhile, according to Winata (2021:15), motivation is a force, both from within and from outside, that encourages a person to achieve certain predetermined goals. Or in other words, motivation can be interpreted as a mental impulse towards individuals or people as members of society. And learning motivation according to Syachtiyani, et al (2021:94), "Learning motivation starts from the goals to be achieved by each individual. If the individual is determined to achieve the goals that have been set, then he will consciously form motivation in him". This research is an analytical descriptive study using a qualitative approach, the objects of this research are Civics teachers, students and 5 parents of third grade students at SD Negeri 12 Parambahan. The data collection method used in this study was observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that the teacher has played a role in increasing students' learning motivation with various learning methods that are fun for students. Such as providing teaching materials through learning videos by adding interesting pictures according to the material presented and providing encouraging support to students and providing additional value to students who collect or send assignments on time. Likewise, parents have played a role in increasing children's learning motivation in various ways, namely by giving children what they like such as buying or making their favorite food, allowing them to play cellphones with a certain time limit on holidays, inviting children to go for walks and even making children independent from their childhood. Small is a way for parents to increase children's learning motivation.
