"Development of Smart Tree Learning Media on the Addition of Sub-theme I am Special in Class I SD N 12 West Padang Panjang

Abstrak

Education is an important thing at this time, because education is one of the efforts that can be done to develop one's potential and abilities. Through education a person can change the quality of himself for the better. Education can be the difference between one person and another, which can be seen from the abilities and skills they have. Basically, the improvement of the learning process cannot be separated from the teacher's role as a facilitator which brings consequences to the pattern of teacher-student relationships. Efforts can be made by utilizing learning media in the learning process, not to replace the role of the teacher but as a tool for teachers in carrying out learning activities and improving the quality of learning. With this smart tree learning media, it is hoped that it can be an alternative for teachers in delivering material during the learning process. Based on the background and problems above, the researcher has conducted a study entitled "Development of Smart Tree Learning Media on the Summing Material of the Sub-theme I am Special in Class I SD Negeri 12 Padang Panjang Barat". This research is a research and development using a 4D development model, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. However, this research is only limited to the development stage. The test subjects of this learning module were first grade students of State Elementary School 12 Padang Panjang Barat. The instrument in this study used a validity and practicality sheet. Based on the results of research on the development of smart tree learning media with an overall validity average of 94.5% with a very valid category, while the average practicality by educators as a whole is 100% with a very practical category and getting practical results by students with an average overall 94.5% with very practical category. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the smart tree learning media is very valid and very practical to use in learning mathematics so that it can be used as one of the learning media in learning in class I Elementary School 12 Padang Panjang Barat.
