"The Influence of Joyful Learning Strategies on Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Class V Students at SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang Padang"
Abstrak
PENGARUH STRATEGI JOYFULL LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V DI SD NEGERI 20 KURAO PAGANG PADANG Rosa Atika Hanum Dn1, Yulfia Nora1 1Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bung Hatta Email : hanumatika00@gmail.com Social studies learning process with fifth grade teachers is that students are less able to understand learning so they tend to be passive and there is rarely feedback from students, only a few students answer when the teacher asks questions, students look easily bored and get bored quickly. So this causes a lack of students' understanding of the subject matter which can be seen from the low social studies learning outcomes of students. Based on these problems, one of the factors causing low student learning outcomes is that teachers still apply conventional teaching-centered learning methods, especially in social studies learning. This is because most teachers only use the material contained in the theme book, so this tends to make students less interested in taking social studies lessons. The teacher explains the material and gives examples of questions while the students only listen and record the learning material after the teacher finishes explaining the lesson. Seeing these problems, it is necessary to find solutions immediately so that student learning outcomes increase and one of the strategies considered or suspected to have a positive influence on social studies learning is a joyfull learning strategy.
