THE EFFECT OF TYPE COOPERATIV LEARNING MODEL STUDENT TEAMMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) ON CLASS V SCIENCE LEARNING OUTCOMES AT SDN 32 GURUN PANJANG KEC.SHADOW OF THE SOUTH COAST Wulandari . Wince Hendri1 Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email : wulandari20010128@gmail.com Abstract This research was motivated by students who were actively involved in the learning process so that students felt bored and unenthusiastic in learning, and in the end it had an impact on the low learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 32 Gurun Panjang. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type in learning science for fifth grade students at SDN 32 Gurun Panjang. This type of research is an experimental research. The subjects of this study were all fifth grade students, totaling 33 people. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The sampling technique uses Total Sampling, for determining the experimental and control classes determined by random method. The instrument in this study was a test of student learning outcomes in the form of question sheets in objective form while the data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the research results, it was obtained that the average value of the experimental class was 77.25 with 80% completeness and 64.46 with 61.5% completeness in the Control class. It can be seen from the results of statistical data analysis that has been carried out, it is obtained t_count (2.02) > t_table (1.696) with a significant level of 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted. This means that the science learning outcomes of students using the Cooperative Learning Model Type Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) are better than the science learning outcomes of students using the Conventional Learning Model. Suggestions in this study for further research, the use of Learning Models can be varied in their use in the learning process so that they can improve students' science learning outcomes for the better.
