Education is an interaction activity carried out between teachers and students which has the aim of making students independent. All of these activities reflect that the process during learning plays an important role in achieving complex goals not only intelligence but also spiritual attitudes. In the world of education, professional teachers are needed in carrying out their duties as teachers and can make the learning atmosphere more interesting so that students are active and don't get bored quickly. Teacher professionalism can be seen through their efforts to increase their knowledge, ability to manage the learning process, understand the circumstances and conditions of their students, the ability to apply various teaching methods and the establishment of good cooperation with related parties, besides that the teacher must be able to design and apply teaching materials in class. With the Minangkabau Culture-Based Science E-Module, it is hoped that it can be an alternative for teachers in delivering material during the learning process. Based on the background and problems above, the researchers conducted a study entitled "Development of Minangkabau Culture-Based Science E-Module on the Material of Sound Properties of Class IV SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang". This research is research development (Research and Development) using a 3-D model (Sugiyono, 2021), (Define Design, and Development). The test subjects for this learning module were fourth grade students at SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang. The instrument in this study uses validity and practicality sheets. Based on the results of research on the development of the Minangkabau Culture-Based Science E-Module with an overall average validity of 3.71 with a very valid category, while the average practicality by teachers as a whole was 92.8% with a very practical category and obtained practical results by students with the overall average is 86.56% with the very practical category. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Minangkabau CultureBased Science E-Module is very valid and very practical to use in science learning so that it can be used as one of the teaching materials in class IV SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang.Referensi
