The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in teacher and student activity through audio-visual media and to describe the increase in the learning outcomes of students' reading comprehension skills through audio-visual media in class III students of SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang. The theory used as a reference in this study is the theory by Ramli, (2012) about audio-visual media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research is class III students. A SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang, which has a total of 28 students. The research instrument used was teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and learning achievement tests. The data analysis used is percentage. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the average percentage of teacher activity, namely 66.66% in cycle I, increased to 88.88% in cycle II. On the student activity observation sheet, the average percentage was 53.33% in cycle I, increasing to 87.495% in cycle II. The test score of student learning outcomes, which averaged 67.67 in cycle I, increased to 84.64 in cycle II. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that using audio-visual media can increase the activity of teachers and students and increase the learning outcomes of students' reading comprehension skills.
