Abstrak

Har, E (2013: 1) says that science learning is an activity that contains meaning in the form of asking questions and investigating the universe both about natural phenomena and natural characteristics in a systematic way. Soimin (2016: 216) the Time Token learning model is a type of cooperative learning. Students are formed into several study groups, which in this lesson teach social skills to avoid students being completely silent in discussions. According to Sudjana, (2013: 13) evaluation of learning outcomes is the process of giving value to learning outcomes in the form of changes in behavior achieved by students with certain criteria during a certain period. This study aims to determine the application of the Time Token learning model from the science learning outcomes of students who use the Time Token learning model in class V in conventional learning at SDN 03 Alai Padang. This type of research is experimental research. The instrument used is an objective test. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN 03 Alai Padang. The sample in this study was the experimental class VD class and the control class VB, the sampling technique used the Random Sampling technique. Based on the final test data, the average value of the experimental class (84.5) with a completeness percentage of 78% is higher than the average control class (78.4) with a completeness percentage of 72%. Based on the independent sample t-test with α 0.05, tcount = 2.713 and ttable = 1.673, this means that tcount > ttable. It can be concluded that there is a difference in the learning outcomes of students who use the Time Token learning model which is higher than the learning outcomes of students who achieve complete science learning by conventional learning. The Time Token learning model can be used by teachers to be used as an alternative variation in the implementation of learning
