According to Rusman (2013: 133), "a learning model is a plan or pattern that can be used to shape the curriculum (long-term learning plans), design learning materials, and guide learning in class or others. The learning model can be used as a pattern of choice, meaning that teachers may choose an appropriate and efficient learning model to achieve their educational goals." However, in the learning process, it can be seen that the teacher only uses lecture models and methods and records lessons on the blackboard, and when the teacher is explaining the learning material, the teacher does not provide opportunities for students to think about how to solve a given problem, and there are still many students. who experience learning difficulties, especially in understanding concepts, ideas and mastery of mathematical skills. This happens when the teacher gives group assignments, students do not discuss problems with their group mates, even though from discussions students will get ideas that can solve the problems they face. During group presentations there were still some children who were lacking in conveying the results of their discussions, and when given assignments students could not work on or write them properly, it tended that only students who understood could solve the questions and other students were just waiting for answers from their friends. According to Arikunto (2017: 10), classroom action research is research that describes the causes and effects of the treatment, as well as describes what happens when the treatment is given, and describes the entire process from the beginning of giving the treatment to the impact of the treatment. The research subjects were conducted in class V SDN 55 Air Pacah, totaling 22 people, consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. Based on the research results, it can be seen that in the first cycle the average learning outcomes were 73.6 with 59% completeness. Whereas in cycle II the average learning outcomes were 88.2 with 82% completeness. This means that student learning outcomes in learning mathematics are going well. The results of the analysis of the research data that has been done, it can be concluded that learning mathematics using the Think Talk Write model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in learning Mathematics.Referensi
