TEACHING VOCABULARY BY USING VISUAL SIDS

Abstrak

The writing of paper to give information about teaching vocabulary by using visual aids,especially for junior high school students. Vocabulary is the total number of words that build a language. In learning vocabulary, students’ motivation plays an important role. They can tell message from the writer and a way of sharing information in written from the readers.When we talk about visual aids are potentially useful in teaching various subjects, including English vocabulary.The purpose of teaching vocabulary by using visual aids are to make students understand and can helps students known unit of words and can improve students ability in vocabulary. The procedure of teaching vocabulary by using visual aids consist ofpre-teaching activities, whilst-teaching activities, and post-teaching activities.Pre-teaching activities is an activities that do before teaching process, in whilst-teaching activities the teacher instructs and asks them to do some activities, and post-teaching activities is necessary as the follow up phase on what the students have studied.
